Individual Therapy
Individual therapy, also known as psychotherapy or counseling, is a structured, collaborative process between a licensed mental health professional and a client.
Therapy can address a wide range of issues. Your therapist may draw from various evidence-based modalities—such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Psychodynamic Therapy, or Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT)—depending on your goals and clinical needs.

Couples Counseling
Couples counseling, also known as couples therapy or relationship therapy, is a form of psychotherapy that supports partners in improving communication, resolving conflict, and strengthening their emotional connection. It provides a structured, neutral space where both individuals can explore their concerns with the guidance of a licensed therapist trained in relational dynamics.
Therapists may use evidence-based approaches such as Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), the Gottman Method, or Integrative Behavioral Couple Therapy (IBCT), depending on the needs of the couple.
-
Play Therapy
Play therapy is a specialized form of therapy designed to help children express their thoughts, feelings, and experiences through play— their natural language. In a safe and supportive environment, a trained therapist uses toys, art materials, stories, and games to help children process emotions, develop coping skills, and work through challenges they may not have the words to explain.
-
Support Groups
Support groups offer a safe, confidential space for individuals with shared experiences to connect, share, and heal together. At Willow Tree our groups are facilitated by our therapists with specialized experience—these groups provide emotional support, reduce isolation, and promote a sense of community.
-
Professional Training and Education
We offer specialized training and continuing education for healthcare providers, mental health clinicians, and allied professionals seeking to deepen their understanding of grief, perinatal mental health and family-centered care. No Surprises Act
In compliance with the No Surprises Act that went into effect January 1, 2022, we are required to notify all healthcare consumers of your Federal rights and protections against “surprise billing.” Learn more here.
This Act requires that I notify you of your federally protected rights to receive a notification when services are rendered by a non-participating provider and provide options to receive care from an in-network provider if one is available. Additionally, we are required to provide you with a Good Faith Estimate of the cost of services for the duration of treatment. We will do our best to estimate the duration of treatment, however this can be challenging to do precisely in the mental health field.
